Modular heads are designed so that when a shaft breaks or the fletching becomes unrepairable you transfer the head to a new arrow. These fit a maximum of a 1/3 inch arrow shaft.

The core is PEX Tube that is capped with a 1” diameter steel disk, 4# foam sits between the steel disk/penny and high quality open cell for strength and safety.

To attach first remove the tip of your arrow then wrap duct tape 3” down the shaft until it is thick enough to snugly fit into the tube. The tube is 3” long, no or very little duct tape should be visible after this step.

Spiral wrap duct tape or cloth tape from the exposed tube down to the arrow shaft. Alternate clockwise and counter clockwise on each strip for the best hold.

To detach, remove tape then grip arrow shaft with pliers and pull. A vice or additional pair of pliers to hold the PEX tube is recommended. Do not grip by the foam to avoid damage to head.
