We are a small business that crafts full contact LARP and Boffer gear. Everything is hand made by us, weapon and cover! We do not mass produce and each weapon and shield is carefully put together upon order.
A small downside to this is that we do not generally have a stock and we have lead times as orders are built. The big advantage, however, is that we can accommodate small and large changes to the gear! For large changes we request that you use the “Contact” link at the top right of the screen and put in a custom order form. For small changes however, just send us an email. We’re happy, and excited, to discuss what would make our gear perfect for you!

Hello! Its been a while since we’ve posted an update and we’re sorry it has to be one like this. We’ve tried to hold off on doing this for a long time but unfortunately with price increases from both our suppliers and USPS/UPS we are needing to increase prices and shipping.

Boffer Equipment Overview
One Handed
Blue, Class 1, Light, Dagger/Short/Long. These weapons range from 18”-47.9” and can be swung and thrusting. We generally do not produce weapons without stab tips as the weapon is safer with one on it. Our minimum weight for this class of weapon is 12oz though that can be changed upon request.
Examples: Daggers, Swords, Maces, Bats, Haft-bats
Polearms
Red, Class 2, Heavy, Great. These are the longest of swung weapons, generally beginning at 66”(~>5.5Ft) and going to 96” (8Ft) and can be swung and thrusting. We generally do not produce weapons without stab tips as the weapon is safer with one on it. Our minimum weight for this class of weapon is 24oz though that can be changed upon request. These weapons are difficult to make at minimum weight and require materials such as carbon fiber to be able to meet that weight. Generally these weapons weigh <30oz.
Examples: Glaives, Halberds, Pole Maces, Ultra Great Swords
Two Handed
Red, Class 2, Heavy, Great. These weapons start at 48”(4Ft) and generally max out at 65” (~<5.5Ft) and can be swung and thrusting. We generally do not produce weapons without stab tips as the weapon is safer with one on it. Our minimum weight for this class of weapon is 24oz though that can be changed upon request.
Examples: Longswords, Bastard Swords, Great Swords, the Bat and Mace equivalent of the former
Shields
A shield is a shield! A large piece of dense foam that will not buckle or bend, or as it is referred colloquially, “taco”. These may be strap, punch, or a combination of the two. We also have options for low strap and backpack upon request.
Examples: Round, Heater, Teardrop, Target, Buckler, Argent/Wankel (Ours is inverted with the point facing upwards),Line Breaker (Our upper arm shield)
Spears
Green, Class 3, Thrusting. These weapons start at 12”(1Ft) and generally max out at 96” (8Ft) and can be only and thrusting. There is no minimum weight for this class of weapon and depending on what core material is used, such as carbon fiber, the weight can be made to be extremely low.
Examples: Thrusting Daggers, Rapiers, Short Spears, Spears, Javelins
Projectiles
Yellow/White, Class 4/5, Missile/Thrown, Projectile. There are a variety of these weapons. The ones that we carry are Arrows and Javelins. They are built to be the safest that we can make them and use a variety of high quality foams to achieve this.
Examples: Javelins, Arrows, Rocks, “Throwies”
